The NY-NJ Harbor & Estuary Program’s Oyster Working Group was formed in 2009 to bring together the organizations, agencies and individuals, involved in oyster research, restoration and education. The group now has more than 75 members and meets regularly to learn about current research and restoration efforts and discuss new ideas and opportunities. The working group is also the forum for discussing policy issues and challenges to restoring oysters in an urban estuary. Please contact Jim Lodge or Meredith Comi for more information.
