Bi-Annual Restoration Conference

Nearly 200 participants gather to discuss restoring and protecting the Estuary on June 8, 2016 at the Alexander Hamilton US Customs House in New York, NY.

The NY-NJ Harbor & Estuary Program’s Restoration Work Group welcomed participants and speakers to “Restoring the NY-NJ Harbor Estuary,” the Program’s bi-annual conference focused on restoration and conservation.

The day began with the release of the Hudson-Raritan Estuary Comprehensive Restoration Plan, followed by a look at our harbor-wide progress and challenges, emerging research, and finishing with a theme of connectivity in the urban mosaic.
