Hudson River Environmental Conditions Observing System (HRECOS)

HRECOS is an environmental monitoring network managed by a group of private, governmental, and academic institutions with shared interest in monitoring the Hudson River watershed. HRECOS monitoring stations are located along the Hudson and Mohawk Rivers, down to the Newark Bay. Each station is equipped with sensors that continuously record a suite of water quality and weather parameters every 15 minutes. Remote telemetry at each station brings real-time data for the public to view and download using the HRECOS.org interface.

HRECOS data is freely available and is used for research, education, navigation, and environmental management, and by many others. Visit www.hrecos.org for more information and access live or historical data.

Explore current conditions at five HRECOS stations using the menu at top left or select different parameters.
